Honeymoon (Day Three, Four)

So Day 3 of our honeymoon started as we travelled from San Diego up to Orange County. On the way up, we stopped in Cardiff-by-the-Sea to eat at Pipe's Cafe, another place that Dean had told us about. Steph and I shared a breakfast burrito, which was pretty good, but not as good as Beto's.

After we dropped off our car at the Hotel, we walked over to Disneyland. To say that I was excited was an understatement.

Early on we went on Buzz Lightyear. Steph was disappointed when she found out that the ride is like a video game, and that I totally beat her at it. Sorry kiddo!

As part of being Honeymooners, we hoped that we would get treated like royalty. Get to go to the front of lines, get free food -- instead we got these buttons that say "just married" which just made all of the worker say "congratulations!" when we got on every ride. We even had to steal the hats for the picture below.

When we got to the park it was pretty crowded, so we grabbed fast passes for Splash Mountain and went back later. We were so excited.

The aftermath:

Later on, Stephanie convinced me to ride the tea cups with her. Bad idea. If you watch the video, you can mostly begin to see me get sick. Urgggh.

The next morning we were planning on going to California adventure. Considering that the park doesn't open until 10am, we went over to Disneyland and grabbed a few rides quickly.

Space Mountain:
Indiana Jones:

We went to California adventure right as it opened. We were one of the first on the Tower of Terror. There was so few people there that we got to ride twice!!

First time:

Second time (I am victorious!!)

Did I mention that I got whiplash while at Disneyland? I think the ride below (California Screaming) was solely responsible.
A swing ride inside of a giant orange!!

Time to get wet on Grizzly River Rapids!
Kind of wet:

During our afternoon break, we stopped by the Disneyland Hotel. My goal was to feed the Koi fish with my own hands as I had done when I was 3 years old. Oh how the times have changed:

Stay tuned for details of our final day at Disneyland!!
