I had agreed to document the process a while ago, but I was unprepared in many ways. Unprepared for the waiting, the anticipation, and then the joy that accompanies the birth of a new little one. I tried to capture all of these things in the video. Now, after it all, I am not sure if I am more prepared than I was before -- but at least I have a better idea of what is coming.

A Baby Story
No, not our baby. He is still on his way. But on New Years Eve at 3 in the morning our brother, James came banging on our door. Alicia, Stephanie's sister, water had broke, but the baby was supposed to be one-month away. We went to their house to stay with the boys and in the morning we went to the hospital and began the wait.

My favorite capture - grandma's huge smile just after the baby came, that was great. I truly cannot wait for grandchildren:)
